The Eden Prairie Eye Care family hopes each of you continues to stay healthy and safe. We are pleased to inform you that our clinic will begin a phased reopening starting on June 22nd, 2020.
As part of our phased reopening, we will begin seeing patients by appointment only with the following open hours:
Monday: 11:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday: 11:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday: 11:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 11:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday: 11:00am-5:00pm
The frequency of appointments will be reduced to allow for social distancing. As the weeks progress, we hope to accommodate more patients. Patients with urgent or emergent conditions will be prioritized, followed by patients with vision or eye health concerns.
At Eden Prairie Eye Care, we will continue to follow a strict safety protocol, in accordance with state, county, and CDC regulations. These include:
Installing plexiglass sneeze guards at key points in the office
Maintaining 6-feet of social distancing
Enhanced cleaning protocols, including cleaning all equipment and common areas between patients
Spaced out appointments to allow time for disinfection
Providing staff with gloves, masks, and face shields
Online paperwork and check-in procedures, completed before your appointment
Requiring hand washing upon clinic entry
Readjusting our layout to allow ample spacing in the exam room
Limiting the number of people in our clinic
One eye technician per patient (as able)
Measuring all staff and patient temperatures before entering the clinic
Requiring all patients to wear a mask
