Dr. Dominique Oker

Dr. Oker received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, as a Dease scholar. Upon graduation, she went on to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry, the only bilingual program in the Nation. After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Oker returned to her home state of Minnesota to be with family and find an optometry practice to call home. After practicing for several months throughout the Twin Cities, in the fall of 2015, Dr. Oker opened her optometry practice Eden Prairie Eye Care. There, she manages a small team and specializes in comprehensive eye care including routine and medical optometry in both Spanish and English. She also serves as a consulting optometrist for Helen Keller International, providing eye exams locally at schools and community organizations through out the Twin Cities.

When she is not busy with all things optometry, Dr. Oker enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and staying busy with her two young kiddos. She's always looking for something fun to bring them to locally so be sure to bring any ideas to your next appointment!
